TRANSPORTATION / FERRY ARRANGEMENTS
Advance car ferry reservations are mandatory when you are planning to visit the island during the peak season. We highly recommend that you make your car ferry reservations as early as possible (advance reservations go on sale in mid- to late-January). You may make car ferry reservations online at www.SteamshipAuthority.com or by calling 508.477.8600.
Comprehensive travel insurance that includes cancellation insurance is highly recommended. In the event that you need to cancel your vacation for a reason outside of your control, no refund will be made by the Landlord/Owner however you may be able to submit a claim under your travel insurance company.
Visit www.InsureMyTrip.com for an overview of different travel insurance providers and policies that are best matched to your specific requirements.
Each vacation home is independently owned and managed. Hence, each will vary in regard to basic provisions that are included. Generally speaking, you can expect your rental to include a starer supply of toilet paper however you should expect to bring or purchase your own toilet paper, paper towels and napkins as well as personal products like soap, shampoo and conditioner. While there may be some basic cleaning supplies and cooking essentials provided by the Landlord/Owner or left behind by previous tenants, it is best to bring or purchase any provisions that are essential to your vacation.
While we have personally inspected all of our rental properties, this is to ensure that they are of the general standard of property we wish to include in our rental inventory. This should not be an indication that a property is suitable in all respects for your needs or those of your party. We highly recommend that you make every effort to personally view a property prior to booking. Our agents represent the condition, size and location of properties to the best of their ability. If you are unable to view the property in person, you will have no recourse if the vacation home does not match the "mental picture" had of the property prior to your arrival.
