This classic beach cottage features a white-washed interior with vaulted ceilings, wainscoting, and water views from many places throughout the cottage. There is an open Living and Dining Area, a Gourmet Kitchen nicely equipped for vacation entertaining, two Bedrooms, and a full shared Bath. There are two porches, outdoor Dining Area, an outdoor shower, and walking path to the private beach.

The private sandy beach is just a short stroll across Chappaquiddick Road and down a beach path. The Chappy ferry is nearby as well, so trips into Edgartown Village are only a few minutes away. The Rudder Cottage is one of three dwellings on a larger water view compound, but each home has its own privacy. 

Mizzen Cottage offers an authentic island experience complete with exceptional shoreline fishing opportunities -- where stripers and blues dance in the surf. Mornings unfold with lighthouse views, while evenings paint the sky over Edgartown Harbor.

NOTE: Only Bedroom #1 has air conditioning (window unit), but there are ceiling fans and screens, which generally help the ocean breeze refresh the cottage.
