The Compound has a Main House that sleeps eight, and a Guest House with full kitchen, that accommodates four people. The two separate homes share some nice common outdoor space.
The Main House features an open Living Room and a sunny Dining Room, which is framed by a wall of glass windows. A new Chef's Kitchen has been added with commercial stainless range, cabinet-fronted appliances, butcher block island/breakfast bar, stone counters, and casual dining area. Also on the first floor, a TV/Family Room with beach stone fireplace, media center, and French doors that open to the patio, plus a Den/Office with workspace, and a daybed.
Private stairs lead up to the second floor Master Bedroom Suite, which has vaulted ceilings, fireplace and deluxe private Master Bath with his and her pedestal sinks, soaking tub and glass walk-in shower. A separate set of stairs leads to the other two second-floor Bedrooms. Both have en suite baths, and Suite #3 also has a private deck that overlooks the grounds.
In addition to the wraparound farmer's porch, there is a side patio with pergola for outdoor dining and grilling, plus an additional brick patio. Just across the side yard, lies the charming Guest House.
The Guest House features a bright first floor Living Room with fireplace and French doors that open to a brick patio. The full, eat-in Kitchen opens off the Living Room. One of the two Bedrooms and a full bath are also on the first floor. The second bedroom is upstairs. An arbor gate and tall privacy fence provide an integrated entry to the grounds. Stepping outside through the gate, you are a short stroll away from the heart of Edgartown Village, with its restaurants, shops, harbor and beaches. The bike path is nearby as well.
