This Chic Coastal Retreat with Pool near South Beach, has recently been completely renovated and sleekly updated throughout by architectural design firm Equilibrium Design.

There are two levels of luxurious living. The first floor opens out to the pool area, while the second level opens out to a large deck with beautiful views across open conservation land, The Farm Institute, Katama Airfield, and the distant waters of South Beach. With its southwestern orientation, sunset views are spectacular.

The second floor features a sunny Great Room with vaulted ceilings, and open Living, Dining, and Kitchen Areas. A wall of southwest-facing sliding glass doors and windows frame the entire space, and provide access to the mahogany deck. The Living Area anchors one end of the room, with fireplace, built-in window seating, sectional sofa and chairs. A fully-equipped Chef's Kitchen anchors the other end of the Great Room, with the Dining Area sitting in the middle. The Cook's Kitchen has a grand center prep island/breakfast bar with custom walnut butcher block cutting area, commercial stainless appliances, including two dishwashers, and quartz counters.

An open balcony walkway, that rings around the first-floor Lounge Area below, connects the Great Room to the second-floor Bedrooms, including one of two Primary Bedroom Suites. It features vaulted ceiling, and a deluxe Primary Bath with soaking tub and glass walk-in shower. The other Primary Bedroom, with en suite bath, and the two other Bedrooms are downstairs on the first floor. The Primary and the kids bunk room (with playroom) both open out to a first-floor covered deck.

The first floor also features a dramatic Lounge/Family Room with two-story ceiling that is framed by two walls of floor-to-ceiling glass windows and sliding doors that open to the pool area. There are two seating areas and a bar with beverage refrigerator.

The light-filled Chic Coastal Retreat has a geometrically designed saltwater pool as well, that features a skewed triangular sports pool, framed by bluestone. The longest side is about 50-feet, and at its widest, the pool is about 16-feet. At its deepest, the sports-style pool is 5-feet, 6-inches.

While you are in the heart of Katama, near South Beach, The Farm Institute, and Katama Kitchen, the house sits back off in a quiet enclave, with great sunsets and night skies.

NOTE: Pool is heated to 81 degrees in July and August, and included in the rent. June and September heat is an additional $350/week. If available in May and October heat is an additional $400/week. Please inquire.
