New renovation for Summer 2019 - This Contemporary Farmhouse Compound in Edgartown has a separate Carriage House and a brand new heated pool with patio.
The Main House has been freshly outfitted throughout with new furniture and paint, plus a new Gourmet Kitchen. The first floor features an open floor plan with a Living Area with sofa seating framed around a stone fireplace and TV. A French door opens to a large three-season screened porch with vaulted ceiling and three walls of glass and/or screens.
There are two Dining Areas, both off the Kitchen. One is more formal and the other sits between the Living Area and Kitchen, where it overlooks the back deck and pool area.
The new Chef Kitchen has a center butcher block prep island, stainless appliances, and stone counters. There is also a first floor Den/Sitting Room.
The four Main House Bedrooms are all upstairs. The Master Bedroom has its own en suite bath, while the other three share a full bath.
The fifth Bedroom is located on the second floor of the separate Carriage House, above the garage. It has double futons and lots of room to relax.
The outdoor spaces include the large back deck, the wraparound farmer s front porch, and the new heated, gunite pool with patio. The grounds and gardens are nicely landscaped. And the view from the front looks out across Bitter Sweet Horse farm.
All of downtown Edgartown Village, with its restaurants, shops, and harbor, are a six block walk away. Morning Glory Farm is nearby as well.
NOTE: Pool is heated to 82 degrees and included in the rent for July and August. There is an addition $225/week surcharge in June and September, and a $325/week heat surcharge in May and October.
