Indoor entertaining centers around the open Chef's Kitchen, Dining Area and Lounge. A wall of windows that looks out over the pool and patio frames the Dining Area side of the space. The Lounge Area with TV and fireplace sit between the Dining Area and Kitchen. The Cook's Kitchen has a center prep island/breakfast bar, surrounded by the large Kitchen with commercial stainless and cabinet-fronted appliances, farmer's sink, and stone counters. There is also a separate Butler's Pantry with sink, dishwasher, and wine refrigerator.
The space connects to a more formal Living Room that is framed by paneled walls and three sets of French doors that open out to the pool area. There is seating at each end of the Living Room. A richly paneled private Office opens off the Living Room. There is work space, TV, eating, and a massive stone fireplace. On the lower level, there is a Media Room with sectional sofa seating, large screen TV, and Bar Area with large refrigerator. One of the four Bedrooms is also on this lower level.
The Primary Bedroom is up on the second floor. It enjoys a private deck, Sitting Area, and a deluxe Primary Bath. The two other Bedrooms also have their own private en suite Baths. The Carriage House is both connected, and yet separate from the Main House. There is some Lounge space on the ground level. Upstairs, there is an open, light-filled Great Room with two story vaulted ceilings. There are several seating areas, TV, and a Bar Area with counter seating, sink, under counter refrigerator, and dishwasher. The Bedroom and private Bath are up on the loft level along with a work space with desk.
The buildings surround an inner courtyard of sorts with a large bluestone patio and the heated pool with built-in spa. There sun lounging areas, dining area, grilling area, fire pit area, and the Sand Bar Pool Cabana with covered seating and outdoor Bar. The Field Club is near the bike path. South Beach is about a mile away, while downtown Edgartown Village is about two miles.
