The Martha's Vineyard Teddy Bear Suite returned to its original home, the Harbor View Hotel, this year, and it was a bear-y successful homecoming. During Christmas in Edgartown, guests enjoyed the holiday splendor of the Teddy Bear Suite. With visitors and online donations, Point B's annual holiday fundraiser was able to raise $50,225 for the Martha's Vineyard Boys & Girls Club's Beyond the Bell. In the 15 years since we started the Martha's Vineyard Teddy Bear Suite fundraiser, we incredibly generous support, we've now raised more than $519,000+

Why The Work of the Teddy Bear Suite Is So Important
The Beyond the Bell food security program is a vital part of the services the Club provides to children and their families across Martha's Vineyard. Each week and month, the impact is felt by hundreds in our Island community.
Here are just a few highlights from Beyond the Bell:
* 1,000 healthy snacks provided every week to ensure kids have the nourishment they need to learn, play, and thrive
* 450 meals served each month to children and families
* 40–50 families supported monthly through the Blue Door Pantry, where families can pick up perishable and non-perishable food, cleaning supplies, hygiene products, essential clothing, and more — all at no cost
*1,000 pounds of surplus food rescued each week from local farms, markets, and food purveyors, then redistributed to families in need
Programs like Beyond the Bell strengthen our Island community, reduce food insecurity, and ensure children and families have consistent access to healthy, nutritious food. This is why we continue to work to fund and support Beyond the Bell — because behind every number is a family who benefits from the care, dignity, and opportunity this program provides.

Your generosity and support continue to make this beloved Island tradition possible, helping us spread joy while giving back in a meaningful way.
