Yes, TisBeary is the clear winner for the name for the new bear for the Martha’s Vineyard Teddy Bear Suite.
Caleb was the next favorite followed by Katama. TisBeary is very fitting, we love it, and we could not have done this without everyone’s help.
TisBeary joins our two other larger-than-life bears, Edgar and Chappy, and hundreds of other bears for the annual Martha’s Vineyard Teddy Bear Suite.
We hope you’ll stop by Suite 201 at the Harbor View Hotel, and meet TisBeary at the Teddy Bear Suite during Christmas in Edgartown which is less than two weeks from now!
The Teddy Bears + MV Boys & Girls Club
As a way to thank you for helping name TisBeary, the person who entered the winning name, Kirsten Stevenson, will have a $50 donation made in her name to the Teddy Bear Suite online fundraiser. Thank you Kirsten for the beary fitting name of TisBeary.
All the money raised by the Teddy Bear Suite — including Kirsten’s $50 donation — goes directly to support the Martha’s Vineyard Boys & Girls Club’s After School Program which helps hundreds of Island families and their children have a safe, fun, educational place to go after school.
Our Teddy Bear Suite fundraiser goal this year is $10,000 for this vital, year-round youth program serving kids from kindergarten through sixth grade.
If you can’t visit the actual Martha’s Vineyard Teddy Bear Suite which is open for three days during Christmas in Edgartown, you can still help us make our holiday fundraising goal by donating online today.
