The ever-popular island radio station, MVY Radio, dropped in on the Martha’s Vineyard Teddy Bear Suite for a special visit. Laurel Redington, host of the Vineyard Currents show, ended up with her own personal tour from 8-year-old Hayley Smith, the adorable — and fairly witty — daughter of Point B’s Julia Smith.
Laurel also talked with our Social Media Manager, and Teddy Bear Suite overseer, Guinevere Cramer, for a closer look at the meaning of, and some context for, this year’s fundraising drive for the Martha’s Vineyard Boys & Girls Club, and the new Healthy Happy Kids (H2K) initiative, which is targeting childhood hunger on the island.
It’s often said, that a picture is worth a thousand words. Sometimes, words can tell an equally compelling story. Our special thanks to MVY Radio, and Laurel Redington, for her heart felt story telling, that so warmly captured the magic, and meaning, of the Martha’s Vineyard Teddy Bear Suite.
