There may be no place finer on Martha’s Vineyard to gather with friends and colleagues on a summer evening, than the Chappy Beach Club.
Sitting directly on the beachy shoreline of Edgartown Harbor on the Chappy side, the private club is easy to spot from the Edgartown Village side, with its distinctive red, white, and blue, pointed beach pavilion tops.
Our own Valerie Hart (below in the black sweater), who is a long term member of the Chappy Beach Club, played member-host for the gathering of special Point B friends.
One of the great things about being part of the vibrant Martha’s Vineyard real estate community is that home buyers become life long friends — though sometimes hard to visit with during the hectic summer months.
So, what better way to celebrate friendships old and new, than inviting 100 of our best friends, to the magical Chappy Beach Club.
The Club served up a terrific burger bar with lots of great fixings. Did we mention that chef Michael Brisson from l’etoile oversees the food operations at the Chappy Beach Club?
But without a doubt, one of the highlights of the evening was when the window opened up for the ice cream social hour.
Kids of all ages were quick to line up.
Like the burger bar, there were lots of tasty toppings to create your own masterpiece.
What a great way to celebrate summer with friends from near and far.
