Parkside Market you wonder? It’s the new sister restaurant to Vineyard Haven hotspot, Waterside Market. Yes, Susan and Stephen Bowen are taking this favorite lunch spot of mine over to the mainland, 281 Main Street to be exact (the old Artie’s Cafe space). I love that both of their eateries are on Main Street. This prime location is right next to the old Roo Bar, across the street from Noonan Park, and hence the fitting name.
Think casual, comfortable cafe ambiance, and you have the new Parkside Market. The writing on the large black board menus will be the same as Waterside, along with many other similarities, such as the delicious Skinny Wrap. A little bit of home available to you when venturing off to America.
I think Parkside Market is going to be a great addition to Falmouth. There are a lot of places I’d like to have dinner, but currently it’s a little short on casual breakfast and lunch places. Parkside fills that gap perfectly. Certain to be a success, I am very happy for Susan and Stephen. What a way to celebrate the holidays!
Parkside is opening this Friday, December 21st, just in time for Christmas. So, if you’re in the area, stop by and check it out. I am hoping to stop by this week, and bring you the full scoop. Speaking of a story, wait until you see what’s going to be opening next door to Parkside………
