After a higher than normal online voter turnout, WSJ House Of The Week editor Sushil Cheema declared Athearn House the winner this morning, taking 45% of the online votes cast.

The heated house showdown for the week of January 20,2012, followed coverage by the Wall Street Journal in studio and in the WSJ-produced slideshows viewed online by voters. Unlike the current political primaries, however, after declaring a winner each Monday, the Journal allows online voting to continue on all of its House Of The Week races, with results occasionally shifting.
