Martha’s Vineyard real estate firm Point B Realty has been recognized by the National Association of Realtors for its fundraising efforts and community support for the Vineyard Boys & Girls Club, through its Teddy Bear Suite fundraiser.
In the five years since Point B founded the annual holiday fundraiser, the month-long event has now raised over $50,000 for the Martha’s Vineyard Boys & Girls Club and its vital After School Programs, which support and nurture more than 400 elementary school aged children and their families every week during the school year.
The recognition comes as part of a nationwide campaign by the National Association of Realtors to strengthen communities and support the country’s youth by collaborating with the Boys & Girls Clubs of America.
Spotlighting Point B Realty as one of the association’s “Success Stories,” the Martha’s Vineyard Teddy Bear Suite Fundraiser and the Point B story are featured on a special website developed by the association and Boys & Girls Clubs of America to recognize leaders in the real estate industry, who are helping to make a difference in their communities through the Boys & Girls Club.
“We are honored to be recognized for our fundraising and community efforts, “said Point B Realty Principal Broker/Owner Wendy Harman. “We believe strongly in the Boys & Girls Club and are delighted that the National Association of Realtors is directing its national charitable efforts this year in support of this great organization.”
