Top 5 Things To Do In May On Martha’s Vineyard: Sheepapolooza!

Sheepaplooza is happening on Saturday, May 4th from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.! This is an event that has grown in popularity over the years and is fun for all ages!

Join The FARM Institute out in Katma, as they welcome Spring on the farm by preparing their flock of fuzzy, adorable Island sheep for the warmer weather with a shearing. You can watch the process of “sheep to sweater” as the wool is carded and cleaned, and spinners weave some magic with the wool.

There are also fun fiber activities for the whole family. Don’t forget to check out the baby lambs, and one of my favorite things, hop on a farm wagon ride out to the pastures! The Art Cliff Truck will be there serving up delicious bites, and you may also want to check out the FARM stand for eggs or farm fresh meat. We’ve also featured the Farm Institute on the Martha’s Vineyard Bucket List if you’d like a first-hand look.

I am particularly excited to see Roxana’s new space. Henry’s was a personal favorite of mine, so this reveal is kind of a big deal. The menu is inspired by international tapas and craft cocktails. Also, it’s rumored that the glassware for the cocktails is sure to wow guests. Roxana Bar is open for lunch and dinner daily.
