With the Martha’s Vineyard Teddy Bear Suite becoming such a popular family holiday photo tradition — which turns out to be very challenging with the unique and magical set up and lighting in the suite — we’re delighted to announce that noted Island photographer David Welch is again returning this year, to shoot professionally photographed family pictures.
On Saturday, December 6th, bring the family to the Martha’s Vineyard Teddy Bear Suite from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m for a profession photo by David Welch. He knows how to capture the perfect shot, so you don’t have to worry, much better than all those iPhone pics one usually takes.
David is a talented award-winning photographer who can catch the magic of the moment as you surround yourself with the teddy bears from the Teddy Bear Suite. This year’s pictures will be even more amazing.
The Martha’s Vineyard Teddy Bear Suite has more bears to love and is bigger than ever. The bears’ new home, the Captains Cottages at the Harbor View Hotel, has afforded the bears truly luxury accommodations for their stay.
David is the father of two, so he knows how to work with kids, and he could not be more excited to be part of the Teddy Bear Suite again. He and his family have already been there and plan to visit throughout the holiday season.
For this event, there is a suggested donation of $10 for the Martha’s Vineyard Boys & Girls Club and which includes one high resolution download. Other professionally printed picture options will also be available.
Also after you enjoy a little holiday fun, you can head to Henry’s at the Harbor View Hotel where you can get 10% off your lunch as a way to thank you for supporting the Teddy Bear Suite and the Martha’s Vineyard Boys & Girls Club.
Photos For a Purpose
The Martha’s Vineyard Teddy Bear Suite is a enchanting event where holiday memories are made. However, the Teddy Beat Suite does even more then bring us joy. It is a month long fundraiser for the Martha’s Vineyard Boys & Girls Club’s After School Program.
This year we hope to raise $12,000 for the Club, so we can help renovate the popular Games Room that hundreds of kids use each week. The space is in desperate need of repairs and new equipment.
Since the Teddy Bear Suite opened on Thanksgiving Day, the bears have been able to help raise over $3,200.00, leaving us $11,800 to go, and the suite is open until December 28th! We can do this!
The Martha’s Vineyard Boys & Girls Club’s After School Program costs parents only $20 a year. Because it’s so affordable, and open to all, the Club needs a lot of financial support from people who want to make a difference, like you.
