Kate and Rob really liked La Choza as customers, and when the opportunity came about to become the new owners, they decided to make it happen. There is so much they like about this small takeout restaurant. It’s family-friendly, offers fresh food with lots of options, it’s affordable, and year-round, making it a part of the community
They have made a couple of changes to the menu and have new, fun marketing. The burrito in the logo is adorable. One of the best new additions is online ordering! It’s so easy to create your custom La Choza dish. La Choza has a loyal following and the new additions have been well received.

If you have eaten at La Choza, then you know it is like ordering at Chipotle. You create your individualized burrito or bowl. You can be as healthy or as decadent as you want. The combinations are endless!
A new protein addition is Morning Star Vegan Chorizo. Kate said it is one of her favorites. So, I decided to give it try for my bowl. I wanted to be healthy for lunch. So, I had the Vegan Chorizo Burrito Bowl which is served with slow-cooked with roasted corn, yellow rice, and black beans.
The Vegan Chorizo is actually really good! It has a little spice to it, and the texture was good too. I had the bowl topped with house-made lemon-cilantro which is a great add-on! There are so many options to choose from! Start with your protein and go crazy customizing your La Choza burrito. Get jalapeños, guac, sour cream, dried seaweed flakes, double the meat – the world is your burrito! It’s easy and fun – especially with the online ordering option.
