What a great day, and a great way, to help clean up the beaches of Martha’s Vineyard. With smiles, team work, and lots of environmental and community spirit and drive, the Point B Clean-Up team joined the 26th annual Vineyard Conservation Society Earth Day Beach Clean-Up on Saturday the 21st.
As is our beach clean-up tradition, we helped clean Lighthouse Beach and Fuller Street Beach in Edgartown. We then headed a little further into town, and did plenty of picking up at Collins Beach as well.
We’d like to recognize and thank everyone on this year’s Point B Beach Clean Up Team: Trish Lyman, Sheylah Jordan, Katie Dawson, Judy Rogers, Wendy Harman, Susie Wallo, Emily Avakian, Win Baker, and our two doggie clean-up companions Flash and Griffin.
Also on hand, our colleague and friend, Elizabeth Rothwell, from the Harbor View Hotel, as the official VCS host for the Lighthouse Beach clean-up.
