It’s almost summer here on Martha’s Vineyard. Restaurants are serving delicious takeout, flowers are bursting with color, the water is warming up, and retailers can now offer curbside pick-up for orders.

While not it’s not business as usual, this is not stopping dreams of business owners— like Aubrey Sirois. We’re highlighting local businesses and the Vineyard lifestyle in our new support-the-island drive we’re calling We Love MV.

WE LOVE MV: Juniper Opens In Edgartown For The Season

Across from Espresso Love, next to the Edgartown Diner, you will find an oasis in the Village of Edgartown, Juniper. Here, you will find an inspiring collection featuring local artists and purveyors. There is so much beauty in these four walls.

From flower arrangements that make you swoon, to artwork that brings the island into your home, to scents that harken you to long-awaited beach days, and chocolates that tickle your sweet tooth, Juniper has that and more.

Owner and artist, Aubrey Sirois of Aubrey Maria Designs, has opened her shop/store Juniper for the season. Aubrey is well known for her memorable floral designs, having spent the last 10 years creating beauty with flowers, and her partnership with potter Jessica Kovak of JK Designs.

Aubrey and Jessica’s collaboration has been very successful. Their pop-up shops (including the one hosted at Point B last year) were very popular and showed Aubrey the possibility to do more with her flowers and artists on the Martha’s Vineyard.

She decided to open a shop – Juniper. It’s a place where you can get her flowers, Jessica’s pottery, and items from a number of other island artists and purveyors. The artists featured in Juniper are all female, except Todd Christy – Aubrey loves his Chilmark Coffee!

The list will continue to grow as the shop continues to grow. The artists’ work at Juniper is on consignment which offers a great symbiotic opportunity for both Juniper and the artists. In addition to selecting items, shoppers can order thoughtful gift boxes that are locally sourced and tailored to the individual.

Aubrey has a team that is dedicated to helping people experience the beauty found at Juniper. Covid-19 may have caused her to do things a little differently for opening day, but in time, her full vision will come together. However, until then, you can shop online and do curbside pick-up or delivery for the beautiful items found at Juniper.
