When the pandemic hit last Winter, there was a shortage of face masks, and not having them available was even more of a concern on the Vineyard. So, what’s a spirited, motivated girl to do? YouTube a tutorial on how to make one, and that’s what EMS worker Belle Dinning did. Her story makes for a fur-tastic addition to our We Love MV series — WE LOVE MV: Calling All Dog Lovers – Bossy Dog MV

With Belle’s job, mask wearing is paramount. She also wanted to make sure her family and friends had access to masks as well. She got quite good at making them, and was definitely having fun with fabric.

WE LOVE MV: Bossy Dog MV

Belle has two dogs, Boss (hence the name Bossy Dog) and Janet. While making her masks, she had leftover fabric and thought how cute it would be if her dogs had bandanas that matched her mask.

BRILLIANT! Not only did she love how adorable the bandanas looked and how cute it was to match her dogs, but her friends fell in love with the look too. So, she began making coordinating looks for them. More and more people wanted Bossy Dog MV, and now she is working hard to keep up inventory. People really like having the chance to match their pets. I mean if you have to wear a mask, you might as well have fun with it!

Belle describes her collection as beach and boho inspired. She also offers seasonal prints that are the perfect way to celebrate – like the Cozy Campfire Collection which features such adorable prints like Firefly, S’mores, and Puppuccino Please (for the pumpkin spice latte fans). I can only imagine how adorable her holiday collection will be. Oh and she recently added coordinating scrunchies to the Bossy Dog MV collection.
